Going Green: FB The Wholesaler Achieves Green Mark Level 1 Certification

We are incredibly proud to announce a major milestone in our corporate journey: FB The Wholesaler has officially achieved the Level 1 Green Mark Certification.  We have always understood that our operations carry an environmental footprint. Today, we are taking a definitive stand to ensure that footprint becomes lighter, cleaner and more sustainable. This certification marks the formal beginning of our long-term commitment to environmental transparency and actionable change.  

Who are Green Mark?

For those within our network who may not yet be familiar with the organisation, Green Mark provides an internationally recognised environmental certification scheme designed specifically to help businesses audit, establish and improve their environmental credentials.  

Rather than offering a simple rubber-stamp approval, Green Mark acts as an independent auditor and structural guide. They work closely with organisations to review baseline operational efficiency, identify areas of waste and implement a rigorous Environmental Management System (EMS). Their tiered framework ensures that environmental targets are not just lofty ideals, but measurable, audited daily practices.  

What Level 1 Certification Means for Us

Achieving Level 1 status is a rigorous process. It signifies that FB The Wholesaler has successfully completed the foundation of a modern, sustainable business model:   Comprehensive Operational Audit: We completed a thorough review of our energy use, resource consumption and waste distribution networks.  

EMS Framework Deployment: We established a structured Environmental Management System to actively monitor and log our ecological impact.  

Policy Integration: We formalised concrete, actionable internal policies to systematically reduce our paper, plastic and energy footprints across our warehousing and logistics.
